TRI-ROLL THREAD COMPARATOR

 

Threads can be checked in any diameter from 2.5mm 38mm (0.1 to 1.5 inches), using the appropriate instrument from a range of six models. A wide variety of thread forms, both Metric and Imperial is covered.

The comparator is set by means of a Calibrated Setting Plug.

 

By interchanging the lower two fixed rollers, right hand or left hand measurement can be achieved.

The Tri-Roll Comparator can also be used in conjunction with a mini processor and digital indicator to give statistical process control (S.P.S.) to thread component gauging.

 

The Tri-Roll Comparator is also available as a hand held comparator. This will enable components to be inspected prior to removal from the machine that may require additional machining.

 

The comparator can also be supplied with a tandem base to support both effective and full form inspection, or with comparators having two different thread sizes or thread forms.
